Hi. We’re Ambit.

We help shape how government modernizes and transforms.

It’s a big, complex, and continually evolving challenge.

So we need smart and resilient people up to the task.

That’s where you come in.

Who We Are

Ambiteers are a vast and varied group that share some essential traits. They’ve proven their talent in whatever field they’ve chosen. They’re agile thinkers who embrace innovation. What We Do

Ambit solves complex government problems so they can fulfill their mission. No matter their background, everyone focuses on getting the mission of government done. Whether that’s managing the FCC’s spectrum auction, moving a data center to the cloud, or making sure that thousands of FEMA emergency responders have mobile communications in the middle of a natural disaster. We apply the critical thinking, user focus, technical expertise, and program management exactly where it’s needed.

Our Community

Our people love to work in tight-knit, empathetic teams of widely talented individuals. Ambit offers a balanced work-life environment, promotes community philanthropy, and provides everyone with opportunities to learn, develop, and thrive.

Ambit Team Member Spotlight

Since assuming responsibility for managing and directing all telecommunications ordering, provisioning, distribution, and billing for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in 2009, Steve Wood and his Ambit team have been responsible for realizing over $48 million in cost recovery.

Steve brought nearly 30 years of telecommunications management design and deployment experience to FEMA when he assumed leadership of their telecom project in the midst of enormous change from a wired to a wireless environment.

His early successes in streamlining FEMA’s telecom processes and recovering millions in unused and redundant resources funded FEMA’s ability to upgrade their mobile workers’ devices, rollout new technologies, and enhanced their ability to respond to our citizens and first responders in the event of national disasters.
