VA Secretary Shinseki addresses House Committee on Veterans Affairs,
references Supplier Relationship Transformation Initiative

On Wednesday, March 10th, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary Eric Shinseki addressed the full House Committee on Veterans Affairs. The Secretary’s statement focused primarily on “Structuring the VA of the 21st Century” and he noted many of the department’s ongoing and upcoming efforts to improve benefits and services for the nation’s Veterans. VA’s ongoing Supplier Relationship Transformation Initiative (SRTI) was among those Shinseki called out.

Ambit has been supporting SRTI since its early stages and directly assisted VA in carrying out the vendor forum and ongoing outreach referenced in Shinseki’s statement. In support of this initiative, Ambit’s team is presently managing the execution and analysis of a survey to more than 70,000 stakeholders in VA’s supplier community.
