Ambit supports USDA in developing 4th ranked Open Government Plan

The Ambit Group assisted the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in developing its Open Government Plan in response to President Obama’s first executive action. Ambit’s support helped USDA meet the objectives of the Open Government directive to engage a broad base of organizational perspectives, establish an Open Government Web page, and publish its plan in an open format by April 7, 2010.

Since 2005, The Ambit Group has partnered with the USDA providing Strategic and Program Management expertise. Addressing President Obama’s Open Government Directive, Team Ambit worked in close cooperation with USDA’s executive leadership to support USDA’s Open Government Planning activities, including all facets of plan development from facilitated meeting support to document development and control. On May 3rd, 2010, OpenTheGovernment.Org provided an evaluation and ranking of all the federal agencies’ open government plans. USDA’s Open Government Plan was placed among the “Strongest Plans” group, ranking 4th overall.
