Ambit ranks #11 on Washington Technology’s Fast 50

For the third consecutive year, Ambit has been identified as one of Washington Technology’s Fast 50 – that is, as one of the 50 fastest growing small businesses in the government market. Ambit ranked #11 among its many DC-area and nationwide competitors, logging a 142.7% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) between 2004 and 2008.

“This is truly rewarding in such a competitive market and at a time when the economic climate is less than favorable for many businesses,” said Ambit’s President and Co-Founder, Kim Shackleford.

Previously, Ambit ranked #10 on the list in 2007 and #18 in 2008. Long-term contracts at USDA and FCC have enabled Ambit’s stability, while newer and expansively growing contracts at FEMA and VA have propelled the firm’s continued growth.

“Our continued growth is a testament to our hard-working people and long-standing, strong relationships with our clients,” noted John Condon, Ambit’s CEO and Co-Founder.
