Homeland Security Information Network Next

Generation (HSIN NextGen) -Organizational Change and

Training

Reston, VA – July 1, 2008 – The Ambit Group, LLC, (Ambit) recently announced that it is part of the General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems-led team that has been awarded a task order from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to develop, implement and maintain the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Next Generation. The Ambit Group is a leading Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business providing support across the Federal government. Ambit specializes in developing and implementing organizational change programs for complex government environments and programs. As a member of the General Dynamics team, Ambit will provide organizational change and communications support for HSIN NextGen.

The Homeland Security Information Network is a national information sharing and collaboration platform that provides and serves as a conduit to Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) data that is maintained by, and shared in a multi-directional, trusted and secure environment among DHS and other domestic and international partners. General Dynamics will update the current Homeland Security Information Network technology to implement the HSIN Next Generation requirements.

The General Dynamics team also includes Booz Allen Hamilton, Lockheed Martin, ManTech, and Sim G Technologies. The technical solution providers include Adobe, EMC, Oracle, RSA, Anakam, and Sun Microsystems.

The task order was awarded under the DHS Enterprise Acquisitions Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) contract. The initial award is for $18 million and the total potential five-year value if all options are exercised is $62 million.
