Ambit eligible to execute on GSA
Alliant tasks as
member of SRA’s team
Reston, VA – August 3, 2007 – The General Services Administration (GSA) recently awarded spots on its Alliant contract vehicle to 29 companies. Ambit Group, LLC (Ambit) is among them as a member of SRA’s team.
“This is a great accomplishment for Ambit and its people, especially as we continue to grow and solidify our position as the leading Woman-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in the federal marketplace,” said John Condon, Ambit’s CEO. “We have high expectations for Alliant and hope to capitalize on much of what it can provide over the next ten years.”
Alliant is a 10-year Multiple Award/Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA/IDIQ) award, and is valued at $50 billion if all contract terms are to be exercised. The original award is for a five-year period but it contains a five-year extension option. Condon is eager to start responding to tasks through Alliant and he explains that it is a great opportunity to help build and expand Ambit.
“It’s simple,” said Condon. “If you don’t win a spot on these impressively large vehicles, then you’ve precluded your ability to do a lot of good, available work for the government—now that Ambit is eligible to execute, we are standing by ready to respond to task orders as they come.”
Ambit Group is already incredibly familiar with GSA and has been supporting the administration’s Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) since 2005.
