Careers at Ambit: Enterprise Systems Architect (Level IV)
Responsible for designing architecture for an organization on an enterprise level. Works directly with the senior subject matter expert in the development of the Technical Reference Model for the client. Defines system and application architecture and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to organization. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
Must Have Skills
- Ability to develop Federal Architecture models, especially the Technical Reference Model
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to stakeholders
- Ability to design, develop, and implement standard operating procedures for using architecture reference models
- knowledge of MS Project and other Microsoft Office products
Nice To Have Skills
Knowledge of Federal Segment Architecture Methodology (FSAM)
Minimum/General Experience
6 to 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Minimum Education
BS/BA degree in a related area (or equivalent)
