As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to perform all tasks required by the client to satisfy an outstanding business need or question. This may include tasks ranging from writing meeting minutes to researching, evaluating, and recommending enterprise solutions. Solutions generally involve a combination of system and procedural elements. You must be able to address the possibilities and limitations of both. The dynamics of the environment must be considered for all solutions, as best practices and industry standards are not always requirements for solutions or for the development, implementation and support of the solution. The analyst must be able to work in an often unstructured environment with minimal direction, adhere to deadlines, and be flexible enough to change direction on an effort at any given time.
Minimum/General Experience:
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in roles which demonstrate proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation; system design, testing, and support; process reengineering; training; data management and reporting; change management; and a basic understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.

- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Familiarity with multiple software development lifecycles, including Agile and RAD
- Business process mapping
- Business process reengineering

- Microsoft Office Suite
- Visio
- Technical writing
- Excellent communication skills (writing sample required)
- Independent and team work aptitude
- Understanding of database principals and reporting tools
- Understanding of web development tools and methodologies
- help desk or direct customer support experience
Candidates must be able to provide a writing sample at the time of the interview (to be left with interviewers.) Interviewing activities will include (but are not limited to) role-play exercises to demonstrate proficiency in extracting user requirements. The candidate will then use an on-site computer (provided) to create a brief user requirements document (template provided), a current-state process map (style provided), and recommendation (which can consist of maps and/or text content - interviewee's discretion.)

US Citizen Required, must be able to pass a background check.
