Reston, VA (June 2, 2011) Washington SmartCEO Magazine has recognized Kimberley Hayes, President of the Ambit Group, LLC, as one of their 2011 Brava! Winners.
The Brava! Women Business Achievement Awards celebrates women business leaders who have demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities and significantly contributed to philanthropic efforts within the community they serve. These female CEOs not only guide their companies on the path to success, but mentor fellow CEOs and encourage giving back to their local communities.
Hayes is awarded the honor among a distinguished group of female CEOs in the Greater Washington area leading companies that generate $1.5 billion in collective revenue and manage more than 4,700 employees.
"It is an honor to be recognized as a 2011 Brava! Winner. The talent and dedication of my fellow colleagues have lead to the accomplishments of our company and we look forward to continued future success," Hayes said.
Alongside John Condon, Ambit CEO, Hayes founded the Ambit Group in 2001. Since its inception, Ambit has worked to support Federal employees at all levels of government, from the executive to the operational. Ambit is recognized as a leading Woman-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned firm. In addition to inclusion in the "Fast 50" list for each of the past 4 years, a distinction which recognizes the fastest growing small businesses within the Federal Information Technology sector, Ambit was recognized as the Industry Advisory Council Small Business of the Year in 2004.
SmartCEO Magazine profiles Brava! winners in their July issue and will honor awardees at a ceremony on Wednesday, July 27 in Washington, D.C. at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
