Ambit recognizes the importance of providing educational opportunities for youth in the community. This spring, Ambit will sponsor two high school students awarded the privilege of attending the week long Legion Auxiliary's Boys and Girls State programs.
The Boys and Girls State programs teach our youth responsible citizenship and instruct them on the fundamentals and importance of American government. Since the inception of Boys and Girls State in the 1930s, rising high school seniors chosen for the prestigious program have had the opportunity to learn firsthand how their state and local government operate. Activities include legislative sessions, court proceedings, law enforcement presentations, assemblies, bands, chorus and recreational programs.
